Delete Your Dance Marathon Account

Request Account Deletion

1. In the Dance Marathon app, sign in and open Settings.
2. Choose Delete Account, then confirm Permanently Delete.
3. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@dancemarathon.app with the email address, full name, or username connected to your account.

Data Deleted

• Account login and Supabase Auth credentials
• Email address, display name, username, and profile details
• Profile images and community images uploaded by the account
• Community posts, comments, likes, reports, and block records
• Event participation, step tracking records, event history, and performance statistics
• Local app caches tied to the account on the signed-in device

Data We May Keep

• Backups, security logs, and diagnostic records may remain for up to 30 days before automatic removal.
• Records required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory purposes may be retained only as long as needed.
• Aggregated or anonymized event statistics that no longer identify you may be retained.

Timing

In-app deletion is processed immediately after final confirmation. Manual email requests are reviewed and processed within 30 days after we have enough information to identify and verify the account.
